My favorite breakfast diner in town! Food is reasonable priced and consistently tasty! Service is great and they've done a great job to adapt to the new COVID-19 procedures that restaurants currently must follow. They're open daily from 6 AM until 2 PM.

Delicious old school 50’s diner! Their omelette is heavenly. Order the western and you won’t be disappointed!

What a great little gem of a diner! When you walk in, you are pleasantly surprised by the retro diner! Looks are deceiving with this place! Cheap and yummy food, with friendly staff!

Went once and had a great time. Went another time and the waitress forgot about us after giving us our menus.

Called ahead of time to make sure they were open and the girl said "Yeah we're open til 2pm." I come in and then she says "I said we close at 12:30." But she actually said TWO over the phone.

Cake donuts are good, breakfast was even better. Get their biscuits and gravy if that's your thing because theirs are top notch.

Came into town to visit Cedar Point. First day went in for donuts. Sat right at the counter for 15 minutes without so much as a hello. Got the donuts and they tasted stale. Next day decided to try the biscuits and gravy hoping it would be better. I called the order in ahead of time and asked for utensils and salt n pepper. When I got my order I didn't see either. I asked the lady working for some and she rudely showed me they were in the biscuits and gravy containers. Yea thanks for the gravy soaked packets and the gravy covered plastic fork. Not to mention the gravy straight out of a can. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE FOOD. DONT DO IT.

Amazing food fast and friendly

Local eatery that is very inexpensive and serves great food. It was the owner's birthday when we first went there for breakfast. Great food, lots of regular diner breakfast choices, good people who work there. And the best donuts that we took to go. If you want donuts, get there early for the best selection. Plenty of people seem to call in as boxes of donuts were waiting to be picked up.

For being a small little whole in the wall the food was absolutely amazing!

Great place...reminds me of my home town donut shop. Fresh and yummy...go early to get a good selection or you may miss out on them jelly filled nummy num nums.

Best donuts I have had in a long long time. I drove 3 hours for Cedar Point and decided to try this place. Got 2 chocolate donuts. The first one I picked wasn't the donut I asked for. It had white icing and I wanted the one with the chocolate icing beside it. Still very good. Did not feel like complaining about it. I actually first asked if they had devils food donuts and she seemed clueless as to what that really is. Sometimes known as double chocolate but a very common donut and my favorite. Had some very good oatmeal. Its strange that they charge extra for brown sugar. I asked if they had sweet tea. She said yes but if it really had sugar I could not taste it. Tea was bad and she never bothered to refill it. Service was sorta bad. Felt like I was ignored. Prices were were cheap. Almost no parking and I had to park in the lot next door and hope I didn't get towed. If all you want is amazing donuts then 5 stars but for some of the other minor issues I'm knocking a star off.

Well usually a very good donut shop. But lately I've gotten what must be day old donuts. Barely any icing on the whole dozen. Look like they forgot to icing them, Not very pleased.

I will recommend jolly donuts to my friends and family. Great service and excellent food, plus low prices.

My boyfriend and I came to Ohio for our anniversary. We ordered breakfast here and it’s nothing like Michigan diners. We personally loved it! Great donuts friendly people! I would highly recommend 👍

Food was fine but service wasn't very good. Waitress was very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome.

Place had really good breakfast and traditional coffee. Price was very affordable. Excessive stirring by this old man next to me, I thought he was intending to pulverize the bottom of his coffee cup but he was unsuccessful at doing so. People were a little odd but provided great service.

Hidden gem! A 50's style greasy spoon with the most incredible doughnuts in town...no lie! I know there are some holes in the doughnuts, but none in the ironclad guarantee that you'll enjoy how tasty they are!

It's hard to ruin fried dough covered with sugar, but it's also pretty hard to improve on the regular recipe. Jolly donut manages it really well. They have some chocolate cake donuts covered with peanuts that are just outstanding. Other great flavors you can't find other places are one that tastes like a SAMOA girl scout cookie (caramel covered, rolled in coconut) and the caramel covered, rolled in peanuts. Really nice staff. They always have a smile for you.

Great aesthetic, service and food. Awesome value. This place has been a staple at the corner of Perkins and Cleveland for as long as I can remember and i hope it stays there for many more years.

I ordered my donuts two days prior to picking them up. The order was ready at opening, the staff was very friendly, and the donuts were super amazing. The guys at work and I all thank you for your hard work. It was very much appreciated!
